Veenita Vido

Reception & Student Administration

Veenita has held the position of Student Administration Officer at Fenner School since 2014. She holds 19 years of experience in University Administration System which she gained whilst working in different Colleges and Departments at Australian National University.

Veenita has an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management in Australia, and worked in several different hotels in Canberra for nearly 10 years. She has taught at CIT, Reid Campus in the Department of Hospitality Management, and has taught Indian and Italian cooking lessons at Lake Tuggeranong College and Canberra College for 6 years.

Veenita’s role is expansive. On top of streamlining courses, and working with Convenors and Coursework Officers in a variety of administrative capacities, she is the first point of contact for most who come to the School. Veenita provides high level customer and administrative support to the teaching and learning portfolio of the School with specific focus on the Coursework Research program.

Outside of work, she loves to spend time in her garden, listening to music, and trying out new recipes, spending quality time with her family and her fur baby Milo. Veenita is most famous at The Fenner School not just for her efficiency and professionalism, but her resilience, and her generosity and care towards colleagues and students alike.

Veenita also assists Honours and Masters students with their application, enrolment, induction session, proposal seminars, mid-term reviews, organising examiners to examine thesis, final seminars, oral defence, finalising of marks and uploading results.
