Several GRACE-derived estimates of water storage are available, including a new product developed by Dr Paul Tregoning  and team at ANU. This project will compare various available water storage estimates, analyse their error characteristics, develop methods to reduce and quantify errors through, and develop new approaches to model-data assimilation at global scale.

This project is in collaboration with Dr Paul Tregoning (Research School of Earth Sciences, ANU).

Candidates should have some experience with scripting languages and programming. A scholarship may be available.
