Creating and using ecosystem accounts

Populating insightful national environmental accounts is a complex challenge. This project will investigate if and how the current availability of observations and methods can meet the needs of policy and decision makers. It will build on the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting and work with selected stakeholders to devise accounting approaches that help make better policy and decisions.

This project is in collaboration with the Bureau of Meteorology and Australian Bureau of Statistics.
