Deriving spatial information on ecosystem integrity

Methods are needed to derive national scale information on ecosystem condition, configuration and amount. This project will combine satellite biomass data and high resolution vegetation maps with ecological theories such as species-area relationships to derive new insights into ecosystem integrity at national scale.

This project is in collaboration with the Bureau of Meteorology and Australian Bureau of Statistics.
