The ANU Coastal Campus and Field Station (Edith and Joy London Foundation) located at Kioloa, New South Wales.

Australian Siberian Expedition 1903

In the northern summer of 1903, the distinguished Australian ornithologist Robert Hall (1867-1949) and his young assistant R. E. (Ernie) Trebilcock (1880-1976), took a very long detour on a voyage from Australia to England. Hall was the author of a number of ornithological publications, and co-author of some books on nature study.

The Environmental History Network is a loose affiliation between people from all departments of ANU, surrounding institutions and private individuals living in ACT (or nearby) interested in all or any of the many manifestations of environmental history.

  • Woodlands: A disappearing landscape - Australia's woodland areas support a diverse array of birds, mammals, reptiles, frogs, invertebrates and plants, but they are under threat from clearing and inappropriate grazing. Understanding woodlands is an important way forward for promoting their sustainable management and conservation.
