The Mekong Delta is extremely vulnerable to the combined impacts of natural climate variations and climate change as well as human induced changes in river flow and changing land use. The people of the Mekong have proved remarkably resilient to both natural and imposed changes. These seminars will describe how communities cope with the massive annual floods in the Mekong and the increasing demands for food.
