Each year, staff and students from the Fenner School of Environment and Society meet to celebrate the important contribution made by our International students, and to enjoy delicious food from around the world.
This year the International Lunch was fabulous, with meals prepared from Brazil, Indonesia, China, Egypt, India, Fiji, Taiwan, Ireland, Laos and Pakistan, along with some old Aussie favourites.
It was great to see many of our new post-graduate students joining the event. A big thanks must go to those who took time out of their busy schedules to cook for the lunch, and to the many volunteers who helped run the event.
We were also delighted that ANU’s Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic - Marnie Hughes-Warrington could attend, and said of the event ‘It is wonderful to see such a strong sense of community for students and staff, and a privilege to have been part of it.’
