Prescribing adaptiveness in agencies of the state

Thursday 16 January 2014

In a new piece in the journal Global Environmental Change, Dr Carina Wyborn (Visiting Fellow, based at the University of Montana) and Professor Steve Dovers (Fenner School) propose mechanisms that would enable government agencies to better engage with new collaborative forms of natural resource management. They observe that too little attention has been paid in the literature and in practice to the constraints under which state agencies operate, and advance a new agenda of research and policy attention.

The research and its implications are discussed on Dr Wyborn’s blog at http://www.thepacificexchange.net/.
