As the ANU celebrates it’s 75 years – and the Fenner School of Environment & Society celebrates 15 years – we look to the future of the ANU and what sort of university we want to be from an environmental perspective. While the trees that line the grounds of the university have an aesthetic function, they also represent a practical and symbolic environmental one. As the ANU matures and moves through the decades, so will the trees - a living testament to this place.
This event will feature a keynote speech from one of the tree experts from the Fenner School of Environment & Society, followed by the actual planting of the tree saplings from current environmental science undergraduate students.
If you are a student or Fenner staff member and would like to plant a tree, send us an email at email@example.com
