Fenner in the News - Professor Xuemei Bai speaks with ABC Radio Canberra

What does a Fenner professor have in common with USA Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, youth activist Greta Thunberg and broadcaster and natural historian Sir David Attenborough?

Professor of Urban Environment and Human Ecology Xuemei Bai was listed as part of the 'Climate 100 List' - a global list of the most influential people in the field of climate science, whether it's policy, academia or activism, compiled by consulting firm Apolitical.

Professor Bai was included for her for her role in authoring or co-authored over 100 papers on climate change and sustainability, and her roles as a lead author for the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, the Global Energy Assessment, and the sixth report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. She spoke with ABC Radio Canberra breakfast the about the listing, and her work in climate science in Australia.
