Rosanna Stevens has been working for The Fenner School as a Communications Officer on unceded Ngunnawal/Ngambri land since 2018. Previously, Rosie worked for ANU School of Music in Events and Research, and ANU Student Equity as an Outreach Student Ambassador delivering homework centres and writing workshops in regional schools.
She holds at Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from The University of Technology Sydney. In 2021 she was co-awarded the College of Science Award for Service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rosie's background in Communications and Engagements includes previous collaborations with International literature and arts organisations such as LGBTQ+ institution LAMBDA Literary, AarhusMAKERS, and the New York City Satire and Humor Festival. She has also co-produced events, communications strategy and content for Arts organisations in the ACT and interstate, including You Are Here Festival, Craft ACT, Emerging Writers Festival, The National Library of Australia and Floriade.
Her background in publishing includes editing and writing pop-culture and longform work in Australian and US cultural publications. As a research communicator, Rosie won ANU 3MT in 2014, and People's Choice at the International Finals at UWA.
Rosie is a fan of rollerskating and Robert DeNiro as Captain Shakespeare in the film adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Stardust. She is currently completing her PhD on the cultural politics of creative writing in Indigenous Sovereignty, at the School of Culture, History and Language, in the College of Asia and the Pacific.
Her work hours are Part Time:
Mondays: 9am - 5pm
Thursdays: 9am - 5pm
Fridays: 12.30pm - 4pm
