Using multiple data sources to constrain water and carbon modelling

There is as yet no rigorous framework to integrate field and satellite data with spatial biophysical models. In this project, multi-objective calibration and data assimilation techniques will be used to produce biomass carbon and water estimates with more accurate and have better known uncertainty over Australia, using one or two carbon and water estimation models (AWRA-L and/or CABLE).

Candidates should have some experience with scripting languages and programming. A scholarship may be available.
