Gboyega is a PhD student at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, Australian National University currently working as a research officer and a tutor at the ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society.
Gboyega worked as a Project Officer with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services (NPWS) – Newcastle, on the Tomago Wetland Rehabilitation Project. In 2004, Gboyega completed a Bachelor of Science (Hon) in Geography at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work in 2009, and a Master of Engineering Science at the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2011.
Currently, Gboyega is a member of the International Public Policy Association (IPPA). Gboyega has a keen interest in politics and has served in several leadership roles both in Nigeria and Australia. He is currently serving a second term as the President of the ANU African Students Association.
