Researchers from the Fenner School can be found studying fungi on the forest floor, or peering into the nests of endangered birds in Tasmanian treetops. You can find our researchers in the lab, examining DNA to discover how volcanoes might have sheltered animals during past ice ages, and working on field sites around Australia to study the impact humans are having on the environment.
Our vibrant, cross-disciplinary scholarly community is home to some of the world’s most impactful scientific researchers, including Professor Tony Jakeman and Professor David Lindenmayer, both named in world’s most Highly Cited Researchers list in 2017 by Clarivate Analytics.
