Description

Is the thought of talking about your project to a room full of people a daunting prospect? Presentations, whether at conferences or for key milestones, are a crucial part of the research experience and your professional development. They are a great way to share your research and to obtain constructive feedback from your community of scholars and practitioners. This workshop provides techniques for structuring and delivering a presentation with a purpose, and effective strategies for communicating your message more confidently using engaging visual aids. We also discuss how to anticipate and respond effectively to questions about your project and progress to date.
