Description

Dr. Andre Zerger is the Director of the Atlas of Living Australia (ALA). The ALA is Australia’s national biodiversity data infrastructure which harmonises the nation’s biodiversity data to support world-class science and decision-making.  The ALA is hosted by CSIRO and supported by the Commonwealth Government’s NCRIS program. Andre’s background is in the spatial sciences, environmental modelling focusing on the ecological sciences, and natural hazard risk. His career has focused on leading teams to deliver national data infrastructures to support research, environmental management and major government policy initiatives.
