Fenner School Affiliates Seminar Series

Our next Affiliates seminar and BBQ series will be held 1-2 pm Thursday 20th September Fenner Seminar room (Fenner Building #141 Linnaeus Way)

An important part of the Fenner School community is our group of Affiliates. They contribute enormously to the research and teaching done at the school, and add to Fenner School’s diversity while providing valuable connections to a wide range of partner organisations.

This is the third of a seminar series open to the public, designed to give Fenner School staff and students a chance to meet and hear from some affiliates and possibly develop contacts. Several affiliates will give short presentations of their backgrounds and research interests.

We also invite you to join us for a light lunch from 12 Midday in the Fenner Seminar Room.

If you wish to attend the lunch please RSVP to Clem Davis (clem.davis@anu.edu.au) by COB Tuesday 18 September.

The Affiliates confirmed to give presentations are:

Rosie Cooney: Sustainable use of wild resources - conservation and community dimensions

Peter Crabb: Long-term, Tedious Research: always hoping for the gold nugget

Clem Davis: Regional weather and climate studies

Luciana Porfirio: Remote sensing, spatial models, martial arts and socio-economic futures: do you want to drink from that cup of knowledge?
