Fenner in the News - ACT government sends $80k of kangaroo meat to tip after annual cull

About 92,000 kilograms of kangaroo carcass has ended up at the tip after the most recent cull wrapped up on Friday. Despite the ACT government's commitment to reducing waste it has failed to find an alternative, after more than 11 years of running the cull. Fenner academics Dr George Wilson and Dr David Lindenmayer offer their expert opinions to the Canberra Times, stating more needs to be done to prevent such a waste of viable meat.
