Fenner in the News - The climate change risks to think about before you buy property

Is climate change worth thinking about when you are looking to buy a house. Will Steffen from the Fenner School thinks so, as some properties may even become uninsurable.

"A one-metre sea level rise, depending on the topography, means that a current 1-in-100 year flooding event could occur every year, or even every month in some cases. In some parts of Australia, councils or insurance companies have already started taking measures to reduce risks."
