Daniel is an MPhil candidate at the Fenner School of Environment and Society at The Australian National University (from April 2022). His research focuses on the pathways through which the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in Southern Africa can achieve just energy transitions through energy poverty reduction-international climate financing and in-country institutional and policy arrangements.
Daniel completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Hons) at Bindura University of Science Education (ZW) in 2019. He then went on to work in the private sector as a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Officer. His research interests extend to disciplines related to climate change mitigation and adaptation-Low Emission Development Strategy (LEDS), political economy, environmental monitoring, international climate policy, sustainable development and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
