Elise is a PhD student at the Fenner School of Environment & Society, looking at strategies to measure and rehabilitate salt-affected soils.

She completed her Bachelor of Science at the ANU, majoring in Environmental Science and Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology, with an Honours project in 2024 examining soil health, heavy metal contamination and microbial diversity in remediated mine tailings.
