About

Joelle grew up in New Caledonia and graduated from a Bachelor Licence Lettres, Langues, Sciences Humaines, with a specialisation in Langues, Littératures and Civilisations Etrangères, from Université de la Nouvelle Calédonie. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, from the University of Canberra – where after she graduated, started as a research and project assistant (RPA). As a RPA, Joelle acquired experience and expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and from there on, she continued expanding her knowledge in LMS and Educational Technologies (EdTech).

Currently, Joelle is a member of the Fenner School of Environment and Society (FSES) Education Hub. The Hub is dedicated to support academic staff, and students with educational technologies.

Examples of support include:

- setting up Wattle sites

- setting up gradebook

- advising on which EdTech to use for assessments

- at elbow support for first-time convening academics

- at elbow support for dual delivery teaching... and more
