Frederick Chew

Education Manager

Frederick graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Honours (Second Upper) in Bachelor of Technology, majoring in Electronic Engineering. He later pursued his passion for educational design at the Nanyang Technological University and gained a Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology.

Frederick was an academic at the Republic Polytechnic, Singapore and facilitated courses on Cognitive Processes and Problem-solving Skills. He has also worked in roles of educational design and technology at the National University of Singapore and University of Adelaide before joining ANU as Deputy Manager of the Education Development Studio at the College of Arts & Social Sciences. In 2020, Frederick joined the Fenner School of Environment & Society as the Education Manager.

Frederick's philosophy in education is that learning is not just about being knowledgeable but to be Knowledge-able.
