Xolile Ncube

PhD Student

Xolile Ncube is currently a PhD Candidate whose research is focused on Scaling Innovations Initiated by Agricultural Innovation Platforms. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geography and Geographical Information Systems (GIS), an Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and a Master of Water Resource Management.

Xolile is a research and development practitioner who has worked for several years for non-profit organisations in the areas of rural development, food security and livelihoods, water resource management, and gender issues.

Miss Ncube’s research interests are in the areas of irrigation agriculture, rural development, water governance and local/indigenous knowledge with a keen interest in contributing towards improving water and food security for the rural poor in Zimbabwe and Africa.
