About the course
Soil is pivotal to the functioning of global ecosystems. The interdependent relationship between physical, chemical and biological processes is explored using evidence from research and field practitioners. You will work in the lab, field and with a range of practitioners to grow your understanding through hands-on applications. A key outcome of the course is to deepen your understanding of the role of soil management within the many facets of society that soil has an impact on. These themes could include restorative agriculture, carbon capture, remediation and catchment management.

Soils in Practice will run second semester from the 25th of July until 25th of October 2024.
