Australia’s Environment in 2023

A briefing accompanying the release of the latest Australia's Environment Report.

Current status and longer-term trends in weather, freshwater, soils, oceans, fire, vegetation, people and global change will be presented by lead author Professor Albert van Dijk of ANU.

Tayla Lawrie of TERN will present the status and trend of the nation’s biodiversity, drawing on the latest data from Australia’s Threatened Species Index (TSX).

Followed by discussion and a light afternoon tea.
