Alpine pollinators are uniquely adapted to cold, dynamic environments, but face growing threats from climate change. This talk explores how temperature across climates, weather, and microclimates shapes pollinator activity in Australia's mountains, and what this means for their survival.

Managing farm dams, freshwater wetlands, and wastewater lagoons for carbon and biodiversity benefits
Teal carbon ecosystems are freshwater wetlands, like lakes, ponds, farm dams and reservoirs. Equivalent to blue carbon (coastal wetlands), they can regulate greenhouse gases and mitigate the effects of climate change.

ANU Fenner School of Environment & Society research students from across our cohorts are presenting their work in two days of talks

Join us as our own distinguished Prof. Xuemai Bai and Dr. Steve Lade discuss Earth safe system boundaries for climate, the biosphere, water and nutrient cycles, and aerosols at global and subglobal scales. Learn how cities can be transformative agents for a climate-safe future.

The Fenner International Lunch is back! Join us to celebrate the diversity of foods and cultures that you can find at Fenner, and get ready for some extreme yumminess!

What is the role of Zero emission vehicles (ZEV) in addressing climate change? What are the behavioural and policy related aspects that must be considered as we transition to ZEVs? Join us as researchers from UC Davis explore pathways to ZEV adoption and carbon neutrality from lessons learned in California.
This workshop offers structural techniques to create a clear narrative and argument for the thesis.

MPhil student, Jenna Ridley, will present her research on how the Black Summer affected the southern greater glider, and what the future holds for this endangered species.

Visiting researcher, Luis Miguel Renjifo, gives us an insight into the challenges and joy of leading Colombia's bird conservation strategies.
