Fenner School ecologist Eleanor Lang has been featured in an article by The Cowra Guardian, discussing the endangerment of eastern long-neck turtles that are often seen highway-side in regional parts of NSW on road trips and drives into town.

Eleanor's work focuses on biodiversity on farms in the Cowra region, in central-western NSW. In the piece, she breaks down the common myths about the turtle's greatest threats, and gives clear, hands-on instructions about how to help eastern long-neck turtles you may see on the road this summer. Eleanor also offers helpful advice about how to celebrate and preseve turtle habitat on your property or dam.
