Fenner in the news - Threat of extinction—how Australia’s environment law failed

Australia is home to plants and animals found nowhere else on the planet and we have many environmental treasures recognised on UNESCO's world heritage list.

Twenty years ago, a law was passed to protect our rich heritage.

A review of this law has just been completed and it has found that the law has been a failure.

Professor Jamie Pittock spoke with ABC Radio National about the review.
