Dr Daju Resosudarmo

Research Fellow

Dr. Daju Resosudarmo has a background in natural resource and environmental governance and international development. Her areas of expertise include forest policy and governance, climate change, development studies, and gender research. Prior to joining ANU she was a senior scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research.

Research interests

Daju’s broad research interests revolve around natural resource governance and local development with a focus on land use and forestry, land reform, tenure, rural development and livelihoods, local-central government relations, climate change, gender issues, and environmental law enforcement.

  • Improving community fire management and peatland restoration in Indonesia, where she examines law enforcement processes of Indonesia’s zero burning policy, peatland governance, and restoration financing.
