Harriet Torrens has been part of the ANU professional staff since 2011 and joined the Fenner School of Environment & Society in 2015, where she is now School Manager.

With extensive experience across higher education administration, finance, HR, and operations, Harriet is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to navigate complex processes with a focus on people and outcomes. She plays a central role in supporting teaching and learning, enabling research activity, and strengthening the school’s community culture.

Harriet has a particular interest in process design and technology-enabled solutions, using these to streamline administration and improve student and staff experience. She values working alongside colleagues who share her commitment to excellence and collegiality.
