About
Meredith is an Honorary Lecturer at Fenner School of Environment and Society. She has worked in research and in government focusing on policy implementation in the irrigation sector.
Meredith has also worked in science communication at CSIRO’s Discovery Centre. She is currently working as a Casual Sessional Academic assisting Dr Sara Beavis teach Fenner’s Water Management course.
Meredith has a keen interest in developing innovative ways to convey and communicate important science.
Affiliations
Research interests
In her role as an affiliate, Meredith is undertaking a multidisciplinary project to translate Murray River data on water quality and quantity into sound. This technique will be used to create a sonic fingerprint for this iconic river system. The project is a collaboration between Fenner and ANU's School of Music and is currently listed as an International Year of Sound project.
