Sophia is a PhD student in the Fenner School of Environment & Society, researching circular food system practices among smallholder farming households in Tanzania. She holds an MBA in Agribusiness and brings over a decade of experience in agricultural research and development, having worked extensively with smallholder farmers across diverse regions of the country. Her academic and professional journey is driven by a deep commitment to climate resilience, sustainable food systems, rural development, food security, environmental stewardship, and social inclusion.
