About
Suzi completed her PhD in ecology, investigating the breeding success of woodland birds in fragmented agricultural landscapes of south-eastern Australia. She is also an A class bird bander, contributing field work across multiple banding sites in Australia. Suzi then shifted her research focus to butterflies, establishing an ongoing, long-term butterfly monitoring project in the ACT to better understand butterfly populations and ecology. In 2016 Suzi published the Field Guide to the Butterflies of the ACT, and in 2022 was a co-author on the Moths in the ACT book.
